Community Partnerships

Community PartnershipsCommunity Partnerships represent opportunities for businesses and churches to partner in meeting a tangible need within our community.

1. Together Partnerships enable churches and/or businesses to join forces for a one-time event, project, or service.

Example- Two churches combining to sponsor a community-wide service project or block party

2. Covenant Partnerships offer churches and/or businesses to partner for six months to two years to fellowship with each other and come alongside a deserving ministry within our city or area…providing prayer support, financial resources and perhaps some ‘hands-on’ help from volunteers.  A Covenant Partnership could involve several ministry partners.

Example- Two or three churches along with one or two businesses may enter into a one-year Covenant Partnership with a crisis pregnancy center to pray regularly and provide a monthly gift.  They also could choose to address a facility need such as maintenance or redecorating.

3. Strategic Partnerships allow churches and/or businesses to enter into a long-term partnership (two-five years), with significant engagement of human and financial resources as well as ‘hands-on’ involvement in helping to meet ministry needs.  Strategic Partnerships typically involve fewer ministry partners at a deeper level of engagement.

Example- A church and a business may enter into a Strategic Partnership with an inner-city shelter, supporting them for $2,500 annually, helping on a regular basis with chapel services or program needs, and providing volunteers for special needs they may have throughout the year.
