Now more than ever, Nashville needs the Church to be engaged.
Based on the same concept as “Operation Andrew” days of service from the 2000 Billy Graham Crusade, Live Out Love Nashville is a massive day of service where churches can come together to live out the love of Christ.
Live Out Love provides an opportunity to say and show:
“we are here, we love you, and Christ loves you"
We curate projects across three categories
to provide opportunities for everyone at any comfort level.
At Home
Projects to encourage, love and support from your own home.
Past projects have included:
- Writing notes of encouragement to principals and teachers
- Virtual prayer walks
- Collecting feminine sanitary products for public school students
- Purchasing gifts for a local family for Christmas that needs a little extra holiday support through The Gift of Giving
- Assembling hygiene kits for local families
- Crocheting/knitting baby blankets for a community-wide baby shower
Next Door
Spurring on ideas to love your neighborhood and those right next door. Sometimes we all need a little idea sharing to spark how to love our neighbors well!
Here are just a few:
- Rake your neighbors' leaves
- Pick up trash in the park or common space at the end of your street
- Deliver flowers or cookies to the widow across the road
The options are endless!
In the City
We work with community partners to curate in-person projects where you can volunteer alongside other churches and believers around Nashville. Every Live Out Love Nashville is different. If you have ideas, we'd love for you to champion a project or support you in planning it!
Past projects have included:
- Community Health Fair
- Planting trees at a local park
- Organizing a community food pantry
- Pressure washing a school building and cleaning up their plant beds
- Serving a free lunch to a community
