25 Days of Prayer || Day 11

“There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for every affair under the heavens. A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. A time to scatter stones, and a time to gather them; a time to embrace, and a time to be far from embraces. A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away. A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak. A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. What profit have workers from their toil? I have seen the business that God has given to mortals to be busied about. God has made everything appropriate to its time, but has put the timeless into their hearts so they cannot find out, from beginning to end, the work which God has done. I recognized that there is nothing better than to rejoice and to do well during life.”  Ecclesiastes 3:1-12

Lord, I thank you for all the ways you love us so well and for the goodness you will bring out of every situation. I am so grateful for the peace in knowing you are in control of all things. You created us, Lord, and you know what our heart craves. I ask that you help teachers trust in you. Thank you for your perfect plan.

Give our educators peace and love for each other so they may control the things they can and let go of the things they cannot. We accept this new season as the school year begins. Thank you, Lord, for this divinely appointed rhythm of life. Protect educators from burnout and from any thoughts that may arise that are not from you throughout this 2025–2026 school year. Protect them, guide them, and give them rest. Help us to know what you need from us and let us all do good works.

Lord, I also pray for the various community partners who pour their resources into educators. Protect all service workers and volunteers; give them refreshed energy to tackle any needs that arise. Help educators know they are supported and loved by their community.

May your will be done. Amen.
