25 Days of Prayer || Day 20

“But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength.”
Isaiah 40:31a

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”  John 14:27

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Romans 12:12

Lord,
We lift up our school administrators to you. We know that their “to-do” list is long, and there are many pressures and responsibilities right now as school is back in session.

We know that as we abide in you, you give us strength, hope, perseverance, and joy beyond what our eyes can see. So, we ask for sustaining JOY for our administrators that truly upholds them not just during the ups and downs of the beginning of the school year, but throughout the year.

Please allow our administrators to lean into the joy that only YOU can provide, even when their “to-do” list isn’t done or when their worries feel big.

Give them confidence in you – knowing that they truly weren’t made to do it all – and that you are always doing more than they can see.

Allow them to relax into the joy that you provide and allow this joy to expand their hearts to “holy interruptions” throughout their day – moments that may not be part of the plan but nevertheless are part of the work you want them to be about today.

Your ways are not our ways.

Your thoughts are not our thoughts.

We are dependent on you, Lord.

Thank you for the joy you provide!

In Jesus’ name, amen.
