25 Days of Prayer || Day 21

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The LORD is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid? When evildoers come at me to devour my flesh, These my enemies and foes themselves stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart does not fear; Though war be waged against me, even then do I trust.”  Psalm 27:1-3

Come, Holy Spirit, teach us how to pray. Lord, we offer up the children of this world to you for safekeeping and well-being. You know these precious children better than anyone else, for you created them and breathed life into them. Help us to help them in the ways you know best. Give adults a spirit of discernment to meet the physical, mental, and emotional needs of students.

I pray that you provide every child with at least one safe adult they can lean on. Lord Jesus, watch over these precious angels and keep them safe. Guide our community to work together in choosing the best ways to protect and care for them. Let us give you everything we can’t control and trust in your divine will. You bring goodness out of all things and so we ask you to bring goodness out of this 2025-2026 school year.

In your name we pray, Amen.
