25 Days of Prayer || Day 23

“5 May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 7 Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:5-7
Lord God, we are so grateful for the opportunity to have access to quality public education for our families, and we are so grateful for the teachers who show up and give themselves to this good work. We know that families and caregivers care so deeply for their kids and their education, and that they are the first supporters of learning, encouragers of determination, models of lifelong learning, and advocates for their child’s success.
God, as teachers and families partner together for this school year, would you facilitate healthy, honoring relationships, and would these partnerships increase students capabilities, deepen their connections, expand their cognition, and expand their confidence. Would the teamwork between teachers and caregivers be so collaborative and meaningful that all experience this deep harmony. May all involved have the endurance for this upcoming school year, and may they all be encouragers of one another, championing the work happening in the school and in the homes so that all are welcomed, included, and valued.
In your Son’s name we pray, Amen.
