25 Days of Prayer || Day 4

“The hearts of the wise make their mouths prudent, and their lips promote instruction.” Proverbs 16:23

Father,

We come before you today, as you are the Lord of Wisdom, the God of Discernment, and the Master of Direction. You alone know our inmost beings and you grant authority, prudence, and clarity. We ask, Lord, to please be with our school administrators, as they lead with discernment and make necessary, difficult decisions this school year. Whether it be decisions about student safety, family engagement, building management, staff and faculty placement, curriculum, or their own personal use of time and energy, please grant them the necessary wisdom to lead with care, commitment, and grace. Please afford them the strong foundation of buy-in of those in their care, and please grant them the additional tools and resources needed to build upon this foundation.

Our administrators have said yes to doing the work that many would not, and so we ask that you honor and bless the work of their hands. May they see the fruit of the labor this school year, to remind them of how worthy the mission is to not just support students and families, but to lead others who are also doing this work. And for the fruit that they may not see until years or decades to come, may you help our administrators persevere and remind them that what they do today can echo into eternity.

We thank you for our school administrators and ask these things in intercession for them.

We love you, we need you and we cannot do this without you.

In your Son’s name we pray,
Amen
