Around the World at J.E. Moss Elementary

Last Thursday, on October 9th, J.E. Moss Elementary hosted their 5th Annual Multicultural Festival- Around the World event to celebrate the rich diversity in their school community. More than 20 families shared food from their home countries. There were performances by students from J.E. Moss, Apollo Middle, and Antioch High School. These students showcased their talents in dancing, singing, and band performances. What an incredible way to honor the many cultures in the Antioch cluster! The evening also included games, a bike course, and a book fair. With hundreds in attendance, there were so many opportunities for families to connect with each other and with the teachers and staff of J.E. Moss who love them so well.

Our United4Hope partner, Greater Nashville Church, loaned their sound equipment to the school for this beautiful event. This amazing church has been a consistent partner to their chosen school for several years. Both the school and the church are thankful for the relationship that they have built to ensure that the students thrive and the teachers and families are supported.

Pictured below are some of the activities that took place.  Also, included is a picture of Dr. Mike Hidalgo of Greater Nashville Church and our incredible liaisons from J.E. Moss, Jennifer Hurst and Jennifer Palacios.
