Collaboration and partnership involve schools and churches working together to achieve shared goals and combining resources. A great example of this happened on February 19, 2026, when Calvary United Methodist Church hosted a Calvary Hilltoppers’ meeting.  Guests for this meeting included Dr. Riley Walker, one of the principals at Hillsboro High School, Dr. Candace Ogilvie, Dean of Students at Hillsboro High, and Sandra Putnam – Broadway with United4Hope.  The meeting was planned by Calvary Church coordinator, Lance Lott. 

Several of the church pastors and parishioners of Calvary were in attendance as Hillsboro High shared some of the wonderful results of the partnership; including Calvary’s participation in food bags, drama department support, adopted teachers, community closet support, teacher appreciation, and much more. Sandra shared thanks to Calvary and Hillsboro High for the formation of such a working and trusted partnership.
