Churches Step Up to Support Back to School Efforts

Believe it or not, students will be heading back to school this week!

But for school staff, back to school came even earlier, with teachers returning last week. Lots of United4Hope churches jumped in to show some extra love and support to families and teachers as they prepared to welcome students back.

Strong Tower Bible Church and Covenant Presbyterian Church worked together to host the Bless Fest Back to School Bash for the Glencliff Cluster schools. Christ Presbyterian jumped in to provide bottled water for the event. Hundreds of students and families received free groceries, school supplies, toiletries, haircuts, and so much more!

The Rising Church welcomed teachers at McGavock High School back with a donut breakfast. They also hosted a luncheon for teachers at Two Rivers Middle School. What an amazing opportunity to provide a warm welcome to our hardworking educators!

Brook Hollow Baptist invited the Westmeade Elementary school leadership team to utilize their space for day-long teacher retreat. Staff were able to collaborate and plan for the year ahead in a unique environment!

Thank you to our amazing church partners for the many ways you support our schools! We are grateful for you!
