First United4Hope Meetup of 2025
On Monday, February 17th, we had the privilege of hosting our first bi-monthly United4Hope church coordinator meetup of 2025.

With over twenty coordinators and U4H staff present, we were able to provide an Interactive Social-Emotional Training and Activity Session, led by Jonna Alexander from Trust Point Hospital.
This one-hour session equipped us with practical tools to foster empathy, communication, and resilience while working with youth. Participants were able to engage in hands-on activities that explored real-life scenarios, learn strategies to build meaningful connections, and develop skills to support social-emotional growth in those we serve.

Participants shared that they learned a lot from a worksheet Jonna distributed which had 101 coping skills and grounding techniques for emotional regulation. One grounding technique we reviewed was the 5-4-3-2-1 technique that helps young people utilize all five senses when they need help to feel calm.
The entire event was inspiring and empowering.
We want to say thank you to Jonna for being so prepared and intentional, as well as to everyone who attended the meetup. We are looking forward to hosting many more meetups this year, and increasing our engagement with one another across Nashville, so our churches can unite, partner and love as Jesus calls us to.
