Franklin First United Methodist in Partnership with Freedom Middle School

Each United4Hope church and school partnership is unique. Churches link arms with the schools and serve in so many different ways based on their missions, desires, giftings of volunteers and capacities. From tutoring to encouraging teachers and staff to stocking a food pantry, all are important. All are needed. Today we want to highlight the relationship between Franklin First United Methodist Church and Freedom Middle School in the Franklin Special School District.

This timeline pictured reflects their partnership. We share this example to help illustrate what a church-school partnership can look like and to inspire other churches to imagine how their own gifts, people, and passions might come alongside the Franklin Special District or Metro Nashville Public Schools. This example shows that meaningful partnership is less about how much a church does and more about showing up consistently throughout the school year. Your presence matters!
