Harpeth Christian Church Brings Beauty to FSD Schools

On September 28, over 50 volunteers gathered together for Harpeth Christian Church’s Serve Day. As a United4Hope partner church in the Franklin Special District, Harpeth Christian wanted to create a welcoming environment for students and staff at Moore Elementary, Poplar Grove Elementary, and Poplar Grove Middle. Church volunteers worked together to beautify the schools in a variety of ways, including power washing, tree trimming, general playground cleanup, tree removal, weeding, painting a conference room, flower planting, wasp removal, cobweb removal, bush trimming, stump removal, and external window washing. Together, volunteers put in a total of 108 service hours. What an amazing gift for students and staff to return to the next Monday! We are grateful for Harpeth Christian Church’s faithful partnership and celebrate all the good work they continue to do!
