Prayer for Holy Week

We know that Holy Week is the most meaningful week of the year, and also one of the most hectic for churches. In the midst of all the final details and work heading into the week, you are invited to come together for a time of Prayer on Tuesday, April 15thĀ from 9 am to 10 am in the Upper Room Chapel.
As part of Holy Week, Jesus gathered his disciples in the upper room, and after leaving that room, prayed for the unity of his followers, and so we are setting aside this time to prayer together as One, praying for pastors, those serving in congregations, the community coming through church doors that week, and for the proclamation of the mystery, wonder, and reality of Holy Week, culminating in the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection and what that means for our world.Ā
We’d love for you to join us in person at 1908 Grand Ave, 37212 as we gather in the Upper Room Chapel, remembering the disciples who gathered in that first upper room as we pray for each other, for our congregations, and for the broader community. If you are able to join us, email AdamĀ for parking info. If you are unable to join us in person, we invite to pause at some point during this hour to prayer for pastors, leaders, and churches as they prepare to invite people into the full story of Jesus.Ā And if you have specific ways we can be praying for your church, please send them to Adam!
We are with you and for you and your church in this season.
