Heavenly Father, we lift up these precious students as they navigate their social lives.
Guide them in their choices and relationships. We pray for the protection of innocence
as they move throughout their schools, their after-school teams and clubs, and even
their homes. May they be lights to one another in our city. Let them show kindness and
compassion to those around them.  

God, we pray that your voice will be the loudest in their minds and hearts. For the older
students, we pray for them to have discernment and to use discretion on social media
platforms which are so prevalent in their worlds. We ask for extra protection in this
arena especially. Lord, protect their sense of worth where these things are
concerned. Psalm 139:14 says, “I praise you because I am fearfully and
wonderfully made…” Help them to know that truth about themselves.  

Please place good friends and mentors in their paths. We pray for each student to have
safe, caring, and meaningful relationships in their schools this year. We ask these things
in Jesus’ name. Amen.
