“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you
with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8 

Almighty God, we thank you for your sovereignty and rule over this universe. You are a
God of details, as demonstrated in your created order. 

You have called and equipped some to be teachers over our children. We do pray for
them as they embark on a new school year. Thank you for how you have equipped
them for this task. We pray for your wisdom and guidance as they prepare their lesson
plans with a growth mindset for each student to excel. Help our teachers be effective
with their planning so that their instruction goes beyond the student’s limitations, recognizing what motivates each child. Enlighten our educators with wisdom and grant
them the efficiency of time, showing and granting them refreshment opportunities. If
they are to pour into others, our teachers need to be poured into them. Fill them with
your strength and endurance. 

Grace our educators with joy, creativity, patience, and the ability to love like you, Lord.
Use them to make an eternal difference in the lives of their students.
