United4Hope – End of the School Year: Celebrating Partnerships and Impact
The end of the school year is drawing near, and we want to take a moment to celebrate YOU – our churches – and the impact that school and church partnerships have had this year. Because of you, students’ lives have been changed, teachers have been encouraged, and our community has become a better place to live. We are grateful for all the ways that school and church partnerships have flourished this school year.
Franklin Special District (FSD)
In the FSD, we are celebrating that 16 Williams County churches are now partnering with the 8 schools in the district. This year churches have supported schools through mentoring students studying entrepreneurship, completing beautification projects, and encouraging faculty and staff members. In addition, Walker Baptist Church recently donated to the Johnson Elementary School cooking class, and St. Paul’s Episcopal paid off students’ lunch debt, for a total of over $8000 in in-kind donations this school year. What an impact that churches have made this year! We are excited to see these partnerships continue to thrive.

Metro Nashville Public Schools (MNPS)
Within Metro Nashville Public Schools there are 160 churches supporting 76 schools in countless ways – math and reading tutoring, mentoring, partnership planning, providing faculty and staff encouragement, providing tangible and monetary donations, and more. Overall, Davidson County churches have supported MNPS with over 1,500 service hours and over $30,000 in in-kind donations.

What an incredible school year it’s been! Our 2025 goal is that 40 new school and church partnerships will be created in both districts. If you know of a church that would like to partner with a local public school, please let us know.
When the church shows up it makes a difference. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of students, families, and faculty and staff throughout the greater Nashville area.
Enjoy a restful summer!
