Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week early in the Franklin Special School District
Most schools in Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Franklin Special School District will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week on May 6th-10th. In the Franklin Special School District, there were a couple schools that decided to celebrate early. We had the pleasure of getting a sneak peek into Teacher Appreciation Week at Franklin Elementary and Freedom Middle School. Neither school has a church partner through United4Hope yet, so Operation Andrew Group, through United4Hope, decided to directly support them with some treats and gift cards. Our hope is that by this time next year, there will be a church partner for these two schools. If you are interested in supporting either of these schools, please email Marian Campos at marian.campos@operationandrew.org.
At Freedom Middle School, we partnered with PTO president Jenny Davis to give $15 gift cards to staff.
At Franklin Elementary School, we provided a gift basket with enough treats for all staff. There are so many creative ways to love on staff and teachers. Reach out to us if you would like any suggestions.
