With the leaves falling, the weather cooling down, and Christmas lights slowly starting to pop up on people’s houses, it can mean only one thing- the holidays are just around the corner! In this month leading up to the holiday break, teachers have a lot on their plates. Between planning events for students, collaborating to provide support for families, and managing students eager for the upcoming holiday break, education staff are often stretched thin. In light of this, Hillwood Presbyterian Church sought to bring some encouragement to staff at H.G. Hill Middle School.

Teachers were delighted when volunteers from Hillwood Presbyterian showed up at H.G. Hill Middle School with armfuls of flowers to brighten their day. Hillwood volunteers spent time distributing flowers to teachers throughout the school in partnership with Neighborhood Shares at Trader Joe’s. In this sometimes dreary, busy season, we are so thankful to Hillwood Presbyterian for bringing some sunshine to H.G. Hill Middle School!
