Teacher Laptop Distribution
Technical Skills: None
Duties: Directing traffic, verifying identification, receiving and distributing laptops
Dates: Sept 14 – 15 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm, Sept 16 – 18 from 7:00am to 5:00pm (Shifts are scheduled as 5 hours per shift)
Locations: McGavock HS, Glencliff HS, Hunters Lane HS, Hillsboro HS
MNPS Help Centers
Technical Skills: Basic
Duties: Help families in navigating and/or troubleshooting laptop or virtual school platform issues.
Dates: Sept 9 – Oct 2 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
Locations: Churchwell Elementary, Donelson Middle, Glenview Elementary, Jere Baxter Middle, Mt. View Elementary, Tusculum Elementary
Dress: Please dress comfortably and modestly to be able to be outdoors.
MNPS Food Box Distribution Sites
Technical Skills: None
Duties: unload the delivery truck of food at each school site, assemble boxes, pack boxes with food items for families, load boxes into family cars
Dates: Wednesdays through October 28; times vary by location
Locations: Antioch High*, Glencliff High*, Haywood Elementary, Hillwood High, JE Moss Elementary*, McGavock High
*Antioch High, Glencliff High, and JE Moss Elementary are in the greatest need of volunteers.
