Summer Learning Opportunities | May 2020
Summer programming is vital to ensuring students continue to thrive, grow, and learn when school is not in session. Without summer engagement opportunities, students experience the summer slide, where they lose up to 20% of information learned throughout the school year. To address this issue, many organizations offer free or inexpensive summer learning programs. They are just going to look a bit different this year.
Do you know of students who could benefit from summer learning programs? Many programs have been re-imagined to offer remote and virtual opportunities. Check out our summer learning opportunities guide for MNPS students throughout Davidson County.
