U4H 20 Days of Prayer || Day 12
Dear Heavenly Father, we pray for the emotional wellbeing of the students’ families.
God, we ask that you surround their family units with peace, comfort, and safety. May
these children be able to express their feelings in spaces of empathy and compassion in
their homes. Where there is instability, we pray for a sense of calm. Where there is
bitterness or fear, we pray for forgiveness and healing. We know that each family looks
different and has its own trials and tribulations, yet we pray for goodness and love to be
what the children sense most in their homes and places of rest.
We pray for these parents and caregivers to have support in their emotional and mental
health. Please open doors for them to have access to programs that give them hope
and healing so that they can be present and healthy for their children. Help us all to be
the best version of ourselves for our loved ones. We pray that your presence will be felt
in the hearts and minds of all these families. We ask all of these things in your Son’s
precious name. Amen.
John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world
gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled. Nor let them be afraid.”
