U4H 20 Days of Prayer || Day 17

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

I pray for all the businesses that have partnerships with our schools. I thank you for the businesses that care so much for our schools that they are intentional about pouring time, energy, resources, and thoughtfulness into caring for children and staff. Whether this is through tutoring, hosting classes for students and parents, or providing resources and more – we have seen such creativity in how business leaders love our schools, and we give you thanks for that. Lord, I pray that as a community we will walk alongside our business leaders as they seek to uplift our schools and that you will increase collaboration between ALL businesses and community organizations that have a heart for our schools. Lord, we believe that increased community collaboration will lead to increased outcomes for our students and their families, and we want to do what is best for our schools.

Lord, I pray for the business leader whose heart has been stirred to support a local school but does not know exactly how to get involved. I pray that you bring an awareness of the best next step and connect this person with those that can provide an outlet for using the skills, talents, and resources they possess to uplift a local public school.

Thank you, God, for how you are moving and working in our communities and bringing diverse people groups together to provide much-needed encouragement to the beautiful and hardworking children, teachers, and administrators in our schools.

We praise you and we thank you!

In Jesus name, Amen.
