LORD God, thank you for the families that you have given each student. Please provide
health in the marriages and the lives of single parents as they pour into parenting.
Please give them the wisdom and knowledge as to the character of each child. Help
each one to seek You first when they are at a loss for answers, giving them wisdom. 
Father, please smooth their paths, and give them Your Presence and Your peace as
they adjust to the new school year, schedules, transporting, homework and expenses.
Help each one as they offer love, patience, kindness, understanding and support to their
student(s).  

We ask that you protect every student from harm and draw them and their families near
to You daily. Please help them not give in to temptation. Help each one to be a bright
light to those around them, especially those students and families who do not know You.
Help each parent to love You with all of their heart, mind, soul, and strength, and to be
the example that their children can see with You living in and through them.  

LORD, thank you, too, for the incredible blessing and privilege of grandparents’
opportunities to be a part of their children’s and grandchildren’s lives. Give each one the
humility to let their children parent their children, the wisdom to know when and if to
express concern, and the grace to step aside when they need to. Use them to help their
families through unexpected and difficult times and give them the ability to celebrate
blessings with them. Equip and inspire each one to nurture a legacy of faith in their
children and grandchildren.
