Almighty God, we pray for our teachers and their expectations for this day and the days
and months to come. Every day you give us, Lord, is a new day to teach and to learn.
Our teachers arise with a sense of anticipation through preparation, and they seek
illumination to guide their expectations. But many times, stumbling blocks appear on this
well-planned pathway. We pray you give our teachers strength and perseverance to
continue the course you have laid out for them. May they be flexible, adaptable, and
open to your leading. Guide them and speak to them, and we pray for them to have the
eyes to see and the ears to hear.

Father God, we trust that you have a design for each day. Help our teachers to lean into
you, knowing that your plan is in place. We thank you for each teacher and their desire
to meet the expectations that others have for them and they have for themselves. We
thank you for their passion for serving our students, our students’ families, and these
communities.
