United4Hope Shoutouts and Opportunities!

As you know, school and church partnerships are vital because they create a network of support for families. When you combine educational resources, congregational care, and volunteers, these alliances fill gaps in material needs (clothes, school supplies, etc.)and foster a shared responsibility for student success.

Our church partner, Church of the Living God Temple 6-Nashville is demonstrating love in action on June 27th as they host their quarterly Community Feeding Day. This event will be held at the church, located at 1310 Monetta Avenue from 11:30am – 1:30pm. There will be plenty of food, games, and outside activities. Please come out and bring your family. For more information, call 615-582-4982.

You may also help support Tom Joy Elementary as they are collecting gently used and new Standard School Attire (SSA) clothing to support students and families in the community. Many families rely on Tom Joys closet throughout the year, and donations help ensure every student arrives at school feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Tom Joy is seeking donations in all sizes of polo shirts (any color), and khaki, navy, or black pants. This can be an outgoing collection opportunity for churches and community groups looking to support local students. Drop offs are being held at Tom Joy July 20t-23rd from 8:00am – 3:00pm.
