Our partner shoutout this week comes directly from the newsletter from Inglewood Elementary School. Our school liaison, Kenya Bass, highlighted the great partnership with Pastor Byron Harvey with New Living Word Community of Faith. Pastor Harvey serves as a lunch buddy to 4^th and 5^th grade boys. His guidance and mentorship are making an impact with these students!

Kenya stated, “Our students eagerly look forward to Mondays, when they have the opportunity to spend time with him—learning how to navigate real-life situations, resolve conflict in healthy ways, and hold one another accountable. A true pillar in our community, Pastor Harvey brings invaluable insight, wisdom, and uplifting energy to both our students and staff.

Alongside Mrs. Nerissa Harvey, they exemplify the meaning of a power couple, always showing up for IES without hesitation, no matter the need. His infectious smile and positive spirit leave a lasting impact—he is truly a gem at IES.”
