What delight comes to the one who follows God’s ways! They will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of life. They are never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous.

A Mentoring Program for Your Church
The Oak Project is an initiative that partners with local churches to provide a turn-key, 2:1 mentoring program that collaboratively cultivates and trains your potential mentors and matches them with interested mentees, in order to shape faith-filled leaders in your church and community.
Each church is unique and has distinctly different capacities and needs. Oak Project works with your church liaison to craft a partnership that will work best for you; whether that is in-house pairings or strictly serving mentors or mentees. The program has helpful structure, but no mold.
Live Out Your Faith
Mentees interested in the Oak Project want to know how to live out their faith in their workplace as well as with friends and family.
The Oak Project is distinctly different from strictly vocational mentoring or spiritual discipleship. The program is holistic with topics and themes that focus on personal, professional, relational and spiritual aspects of the mentee’s life.
A Match Made in Heaven
We pair experienced, resilient individuals who impart what God has given them (such as wisdom, opportunities and guidance) with two younger individuals. They walk alongside them, once a month for a year, in order to help them live out their faith in their own lives. They do this by modeling, encouraging, correcting, and demonstrating supportive accountability, as well as a sacred space to examine and influence their lives. The bond of Christ is the central focus as he works through the relationship.

Results
Groups
Historically Oak Project groups reported that they built new friendships, viewed their vocation in a new lens, navigated difficult work issues, served together, walked together through hard times, gained new perspectives, and most importantly became more like Jesus together.
Mentors & Mentees
Mentees gained confidence in both their career and spiritual journeys. They have been encouraged, challenged, and inspired to look like Christ as leaders, employees, spouses, partners, church members and citizens. Mentors have been fulfilled to witness outcomes from having helped guide everyday life moments and significant milestones with their mentees
Partners
As a participating Church Partner, you would aid these outcomes in your own congregation and reap the benefits of having even more active and fulfilled church members. We invite you to be a part of God's design to unite his people from various professions, backgrounds, cultures, and stages of life to learn and grow together to impact the Greater Nashville area and glorify God.
