I'm Interested in the Oak Project
Christian Mentoring Program
Thank you for your interest in the Oak Project. We offer intergenerational relationships through a once a month, year-long Christian mentoring program that holistically engages aspects of human flourishing in order to equip, support, and activate both generations to become beacons of light and hope in the Nashville area.
The Oak Project provides a space where mutual respect, growth and love take place through the bond of Jesus Christ.
Format to Flourish
The Oak Project typically offers a 2:1 format where 2 mentees meet together with 1 mentor. (Sometimes there are 1:1 pairings, based on the applicant pool.)
Being a participant is an indicator that you are motivated to grow in any of these areas: personally, professionally, relationally and spiritually.
There is no initial cost, as the program is a Pay it Forward system. We invite you to pay it forward for the next cohort. You can so here, through a donation.Â
STEP ONE: Are you Ready?
If you’re onboard with the objective of the program, the next consideration is if NOW is the right time for you to participate. There are many aspects that determine if you will get the most out of your experience.
Therefore, we offer you a quick, confidential READINESS SURVEY to help you decide.
Your results are private. They are meant to help you ascertain if now is the right time to make this commitment.
STEP TWO: Apply Here!
If you have scored 10 or greater on the READINESS SURVEY, we invite you to apply for the next cohort, scheduled in February, 2026.
MENTEEÂ enrollment is covered through a Pay it Forward system. There is no fee for MENTORS;Â as they are already giving so much!
APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE FEBRUARY 2026 COHORT:
Applications received after the deadline of 2/2/20265 will be queued for the Fall 2026 Cohort.
CHURCH PARTNERSHIP APPLICATIONS:
If you are applying as part of a Church Partnership, please adhere to their specific deadline dates. Additionally, be sure to list your church on your application so you can be placed into their program.
NOTE:
An application submission is not a guarantee of program placement. Pairings are based on the applicant pool, and sometimes there are insufficient mentors or mentees to make a match. You will be notified close to the deadline date whether you have been paired.
