“Don’t worry about anything but pray about everything. With thankful hearts offer up your prayers and requests to God. Then, because you belong to Christ Jesus, God will bless you with peace that no one can completely understand. And this peace will control the way you think and feel. Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don’t ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.” Philippians 4:6-8 (CEV) 

God, we give you thanks for another day. Today we pray specifically for our families and their spiritual wellness and community. We know that in times of anxiety, uncertainty, and change we tend to forget that you are there with us. Help each family know that your peace is available to all. Remind them to pray and to keep their hearts and minds on all that is pure, right, and holy. We pray you protect their thoughts from all the outside noise and enable them to stand firm in their faith, trusting you in all things. 

Heavenly Father, we ask you to provide a community of believers to surround them and care for them. May they find strength in friends, grace in neighbors, and peace in you, O God. And may we be that loving community to our neighbors, our friends, and all we encounter throughout our day, knowing we are all daughters and sons of God and a part of the body of Christ.
