Volunteer Data | February 2019
Each year, new partners join our network, and existing partners deepen their engagement. Seeing how this engagement translates into meaningful interactions between students, staff, families, and volunteers encourages us as we collaborate with MNPS to understand how the faith community can support district initiatives.
For the second quarter of the 2018-2019 school year, we saw massive growth in partner engagement. From October 6 to December 21, over 400 volunteers donated 3545 hours of engagement. For the Fall 2018 semester, 5406 hours were donated through mentoring, tutoring, staff encouragement, and family engagement. This translates into $130,500 of volunteer time donated to schools in Davidson County. Check out this breakdown of how volunteers engaged with schools for the second quarter of the 2018-2019 school year.
